The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program was created in the mid-1970's to advocate for the rights and needs of long term care residents. We operate in all 50 states, and every state has an Office of the State LTC Ombudsman to guide statewide efforts.
In California, there are 35 local Ombudsman programs that collectively cover all counties in the state.
OUR MISSION is to advocate for the dignity, quality of life and quality of care for all residents in long term care facilities.
We are Non Profit and our services are FREE.
Interested in becoming a Ombudsman? You can be an advocate for residents living in long term care facilities. A few hours a month could change someone's life! A great way to give back to our community. Call 707-269-1330 for more information.
